Deskripsi
Quotes:
"You are very irritating." —Beetle after Spider-Man chases him through New York.
"Beetle! Hey, I like that. Beetle. It just came to me!! Not like Paul McCartney. You know, like a bug." —Spider-Man
The Beetle was an unnamed Latverian agent who was sent to New York City to retrieve a symbiote sample from Roxxon. During and before his theft he was approached by Spider-Man. At first Beetle tried to avoid having to fight him. Ultimately, Spider-Man's interference foiled the Beetle's theft by inadvertently causing him to drop the symbiote sample, and making it worthless to retrieve.
Months later, the Beetle broke into the building that Venom was being held in by Bolivar Trask. Venom chased after the Beetle who sliced off one of his symbiotic tentacles. Upon cornering Beetle, Venom was attacked by Spider-Man. When Venom seized Beetle with his tentacles, Spider-Man saved Beetle by sending him sprawling onto the streets. Beetle witnessed Spider-Man being possessed by the symbiote and was then attacked by him but was able to escape.
A month later Beetle disguised himself as a normal pedestrian while innocently listening to Eddie Brock's personal story in Central Park, and eventually captured him after Brock turned into Venom.
Sometime later, his suit was seen being repaired by the Tinkerer.
The suit that the Beetle wore is capable of producing flight similar to those of Iron Man'sarmor but also leaves a trail of light whenever he tries boosting his flight speed, and is also capable of phasing through solid matter.
Abner Jenkins, better known as the Beetle, is a supporting antagonist in the 2005 video game Ultimate Spider-Man.
He is a mercernary hired by Doctor Doom to break out the Green Goblin, steal a sample from the Sandman, ane require a sample from Venom.
He was voiced by Tucker Smallwood.
Beetle was first seen raiding a S.H.I.E.L.D. cargo vessel to unleash the Green Goblin. He was soon seen again in New York. Being tracked down by Spider Man, he led the hero on a chase around the city. Breaking into a lab, he stole a sample of the Sandman before escaping, he then heads to a construction site, then he and Spider-Man fight, he then escapes mid fight into the Latverian embassy.
Reappearing, he got into a battle with Venom in order to gather a sample of him as well, despite his efforts though, Venom defeats him, leaving him for dead. In the Nintendo DS version, after he wakes up, he sees his armor being covered in the samples of the symbiotes, meaning that he achieved his mission by gathering the samples required.
What's in the pack:
- Beetle (the original from the Ultimate Spider-Man video game)
- My Earth-616 version of Beetle (I know it's not the best, but it's my attempt.)
That's all, enjoy! Sorry I've been "absent." I've had a bit of a sore throat, you know, "sick." Anyway, take care.
