Liberty Hand

A cursor-driven physics mod for GTA IV.

Grab, pull, push, throw, and tether vehicles, pedestrians, and objects around Liberty City.

- Grab, pull, push, and charged throws
- Vehicles, pedestrians, dynamic objects, and the player can be interacted with
- Physics-based tethering between supported targets
- Up to 8 active tethers by default
- Cable winching with Shift + mouse wheel
- Vehicle door, hood, and trunk detachment
- Aura and Box target highlighting
- In-game settings menu with keybind editing and automatic saving
- Force presets: Gentle, Normal, Heavy, and Chaos
- Live tuning for Distance, Pull, and Push
- Overhauled Freecam with adjustable speed, camera return, and teleportation

Installation
Drag and drop the files into your GTA IV scripts folder.
Tested on GTA IV: Complete Edition. Other versions unverified

Interaction controls
Hold Left Alt - Interaction mode
Hold LMB - Grab target
Move mouse - Pull held target
Mouse wheel - Adjust grab distance
RMB - Push target
Hold RMB while grabbing - Charge throw
Release RMB while grabbing - Throw target
MMB - Pin / unpin
R - Cycle Distance, Pull, and Push tuning
Q / E - Decrease / increase selected tuning value
T - Cycle force preset
G - Select tether targets / remove tether connections
Shift + mouse wheel over linked target - Shorten / lengthen tether

Freecam controls
Alt + C - Toggle Freecam
WASD - Move
Mouse - Look around while Alt is released
Space / Q - Move up / down
Hold Left Shift - Increase movement speed
Hold Left Ctrl - Decrease movement speed
B - Return camera to player
J - Teleport player or occupied vehicle to camera
Hold Left Alt - Use Liberty Hand from Freecam

Menu / general controls
F9 - Open / close settings
Tab / Shift + Tab - Change category
Up / Down or mouse wheel - Browse options
Left / Right - Adjust selected value
Enter - Activate selected option
Escape - Close menu / cancel rebinding
F8 - Enable / disable Liberty Hand
