New York City Police Department - Mid - Late 2000's Vehicle Package
=== Important Information ===
- ELS Version 8.51 is needed for the Emergency Lights to work properly.
- Ensure you install the provided ELS config files properly, or the emergency lighting may not function properly.
- Also make sure you install the data lines I provided, or the vehicles could not function properly.
- Please back up your files. I am not responsible for any issues with your game caused by improper installation.
About This Modification:
- This Package contains 3 distinct vehicles with 9 variations. (9 vehicle models in total)
- Vehicles were designed to resemble their real NYPD counterparts as close as possible
- All vehicle features work properly (Working collisions, breakable glass, working lights, etc)
- Properly optimized LODs for better performance
- Camera offset has been properly adjusted

Changes in version 2.0:
- Fixed and optimized materials and textures
- Improved and more realistic dirt mapping
- Fixed bump mapping issues
- Added pre-baked vertex ambient occlusion for enhanced shading and realism
- Added detailed interior equipment
- Adjusted headlights, taillights, turn signals, and side markers to better match how they work on the real vehicles
- Added missing exhaust cutouts to the 2006 – 2009 Chevrolet Impala 9C1
- Significantly improved door handles on the 2007 – 2009 Ford Crown Victoria P71
- Various tweaks and bug fixes

GTA IV is like old wine getting better and better.
In list of your Police car pack Impala-s are the most attractive, since they are well balanced in size and quality. As for Crown Victorias - I use made by smokey8808. However, I am not big expert in differences between 2007 and 2009 version of FCVs.

Hi! I had the idea of creating a non ELS version of this car pack, but unfortunately I haven't been able to work on any of my GTA IV projects in quite a while
I'll definitely keep it in mind for sure when I get back to it, and hopefully get it done sometime

I use 1.2.0.59 with FusionFix
It's quite problematic to setup ELS.
Actually I also see cover glass over the rear lights, and its breakable, but hardly noticeable. No problem, I just wanted to let you know.
Just to clarify, is it possible to make non ELS version of this car?

That's odd.
I made a short video showing that the tailight glass mesh is present and properly textured and mapped: https://youtu.be/OSzmNvt71gs
you can clearly see how it breaks when it gets shot.
You can also confirm this by checking the model with OpenIV.
Are you using any graphic or shader mods?, because that could be the cause of the issue you're having.

This pack of new police cars is amazing, especially 2009 Chevrolet Impala.
Please, make non ELS version of 2009 Chevrolet Impala, and if possible other models as well. It would be great present for many modders and fans.
Also I would like to mention that it would be great to fix this:
Car lights seems to have no cover glass, you can see this especially on rear lights in the noon.
